Sad Thanksgiving

One word we’ve been surrounded with this week; Thanksgiving.
Today and tomorrow the word Happy comes before; Happy Thanksgiving.

I could reflect on all the blessing that have come my way this last year, from meeting new friends, while growing closer to old friends, and of course cherishing my newest grand daughter. But part of me this year wants to say why sometimes Sad Thanksgiving fits better.

Why?

I wish I was one who could say I feel like dancing, smiling ear to ear, as each day goes by. But honestly, as of late, some days I don’t even feel like walking. I’ve been finding myself thinking
‘Are you sure about this, Lord? It sure doesn’t seem what happened to my callorbone six weeks ago exactly fits into a comfortable plan I prefer.’

Looking at the Past Because of the Present – #2

I bet you’ve had something take place fairly recently that got you to think of a certain time period that took place in your past. 
A few weeks back I shared how that had happened to me when I had fallen during my routine run. Because of that fall, I now know that collarbone is one word. Also, if you fall just right, the collarbone can break up into two or, like in my case, more than two places. I bet you are like me, wishing you didn’t have to learn facts such as these the hard way.
