Sad Thanksgiving

One word we’ve been surrounded with this week; Thanksgiving.
Today and tomorrow the word Happy comes before; Happy Thanksgiving.

I could reflect on all the blessing that have come my way this last year, from meeting new friends, while growing closer to old friends, and of course cherishing my newest grand daughter. But part of me this year wants to say why sometimes Sad Thanksgiving fits better.

Why I Wish I Had the Answer to Why

I wish I was one who could say I feel like dancing, smiling ear to ear, as each day goes by. But honestly, as of late, some days I don’t even feel like walking. I’ve been finding myself thinking
‘Are you sure about this, Lord? It sure doesn’t seem what happened to my callorbone six weeks ago exactly fits into a comfortable plan I prefer.’

Looking at the Past Because of the Present – #2

I bet you’ve had something take place fairly recently that got you to think of a certain time period that took place in your past.
A few weeks back I shared how that had happened to me when I had fallen during my routine run. Because of that fall, I now know that collarbone is one word. “Hmm. What To Write”

Human body thinking in front of question mark

I don’t recall ever having such a tough time deciding what my next posting would be. This last week has felt as if my thoughts have been glued to one big question mark. What took place a few weeks ago gives the reason why; braking my collarbone. I know, not your average excuse.

Broken Collarbone 101

Last week I shared 8 things I learned after I fell during my routine run. That fall caused me to get a
broken collarbone. – Not. Fun. The most important thing I learned from that list was . . .

8 Things a Broken Collarbone Has Taught Me

Woman walking on sidewalk, sport shoes close-up

Have you ever tripped over something? I bet you have. But have you ever tripped over something while on your routine run at 8 pm on a sunny Summer evening? Was that unexpected trip so fast that you didn’t even realize you fell until you were flat on the ground? Did you then get up as fast as you fell so that no one would notice what just happened? But wait, there’s more.

Whatever I’ll Be Called

Who should I blame for this note I’m sharing with all of you? Who should I blame for all the hours I’ve put into writing a short book that I’m now offering for free?
