Noticeable Blessings During My Unplanned Pregnancy (Part 1)

Opening Christmas Present with sparkly magical light

~ God kept surprising me with one gift after another during my teenage pregnancy. Keep reading to get a taste of what type gifts I’m talking about.

Having shared part of my unplanned pregnancy soap opera, I can’t help but also share how God kept letting me know He was right by my side, handing me many gifts of peace.

My published memoir shares many ways God let me know I wasn’t alone during and after my pregnancy. It’s on my heart to share with you how He showed that to me in hopes to encourage you.

An earlier writing shows God’s guidance through an unanswered phone call. It was sort of that first little tap on my shoulder from God saying, “Don’t worry Marianne. I’m guiding you on the path that’s best for you.” Okay, maybe not in those exact words, but looking at it now, I can’t help but think of it that way.

Here is another one of my past writings to show how God might use an interruption as a way to show His timing is perfect. If you are new and have not read it yet, or even if you have, read it now to know what story I’m talking about. Go ahead. I’ll wait.

I’ll just go grab some hot cocoa as I wait till you’re done. If you read my book, you’ll know why it’s not coffee.

Now that you’re back, I think you will agree why, after all these years – 33 to be exact -I’ll never forget those precious minutes God was right there. He made sure I, in a way, felt His Fatherly hug.

Let me encourage all who are now or have gone through an extra tough trial. You may not have noticed right then His presence, but there’s a good chance you’ll be realizing He had been holding you all along. And if you’re at all like me, remembering those times help you get through other trials than might come your way.

My next few postings, I’ll be sharing more ways God made it obvious He was right there pulling me out of my very own soap opera.

Deuteronomy 31:8  And the Lord, He is the One with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.
