Are you aware that there are two things that know all your thoughts? Yes, two.
One is with you from evening til morning; the time your most meaningful thoughts are floating around. It catches the mood you’re in because of the day behind you, or the day ahead. Knowing all your thoughts, it takes part in that joy or excitement you’re feeling, or that pressure, worry, or sorrow that’s stored inside.
What is it?
Think about it. Your pillow soaks up all your thoughts night after night, morning after morning. You trust it. It’s something you just can’t live without because it has built your trust as year after year has gone by. That pillow can’t help but want to help you as it holds your deepest thoughts.
The other one that knows all of your thoughts isn’t as noticeable, but it is closer to you than anything else. You can’t see it, yet it’s always there. This isn’t a thing, however, but a who. Who is that? God. He is the one who knows all of our thoughts every second of every minute of every hour, day, month, and year.
Is there a place you can go, any minute of any day, where He does not know your thoughts? I’m sure we all have wished that. Thankfully, God loves His children too much, and knows it’s best to be there.
Psalm 139 :7-10 -Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.
As I have shared in past posts, I have a book out that shows how God carried me through a rather rough beginning of an unplanned pregnancy. (Click to read how my story began)
My original title was going to be My Pillow, being my pillow knew all my thoughts during that entire soap opera.
The more I wrote, it was rather noticeable how God was the driver on that crazy road I was on.
“God must be included,” I thought. God and My Pillow was the new name. When it came Close to being finalized, my heart grew even more in wanting to reach deeper into the hearts of those reading, thus…
God and Your Pillow.
Ask yourself if God, along with your pillow, know all those thoughts about your past trials, or one you are going through now. I’ll tell you next week a bit more what’s gotten me to write my book, but for now I’ll just say it’s purpose is to encourage many. It shows how your Heavenly Father knows your thoughts, what you are going through, and that He sees every tear. He wants you to know you are never, ever alone.
I would love to open up the door and connect with who ever needs encouragement via leaving a note here or pass a note via email to me at email@example.com
